Bruce started with Longwood Travel in June of 1981 handling worldwide business travel - and 20 years later in 2001, became the owner. Another 24 years on, and he and Longwood Travel are still going strong - and celebrating 50 years in business in 2025! “Treat the client the same way you want to be treated” is a phrase Bruce uses often to describe his business philosophy in working with both business and vacation travelers.

Tony is a worldwide vacation travel expert! Joining the Longwood Travel team in 2004, Tony had previously owned Travel Destinations in North Andover for almost a dozen years, for a total of over 30 years planning vacation experiences for his clients.

+ Bruce Freeman - Travel Advisor

Leaving Massachusetts to attend San Jose State University, and working summers at San Francisco International Airport, Bruce caught the travel bug early on in life. TWA came calling after graduation, which lead to his “first career” as a full-time Sales Representative for the ground-breaking airline.

It was during this time, that Longwood Travel became a client and a new partnership was formed - a new chapter in a 40+ year travel industry career. With over 300 destinations visited worldwide, there are few that have experienced the world like Bruce!

With well over 20 years in the travel industry, Celeste gained an interest like many others have before her: she LOVED to travel!

Her favorite destinations include the sunny beaches of the Caribbean, the history and white-washed islands of Greece, and the cities, cultural differences, and scenic national parks of our very own United States. Celeste is very active in the Greek Orthodox Church on both the local and national level.

With a strong background in sales, it only made sense for Debbie to spend her time helping people make their travel dreams come true! Attending Travel School in 1996 was the start of her 25+ year career, during which she has planned worldwide vacations for hundreds of repeat clients.

While the sceninc fjords of Norway are at the top of her own bucket list, she also loved her time at Ephesus in Turkey, exploring the Canadian Rockies, strolling the beaches of Hawaii and islands of Tahiti, and marveling at the majesitc views along the Amalfi coast in Italy!

Like the rest of the Longwood team, Jennifer has always loved to travel! Throughout her younger years, she planned trips with her friends and enjoyed it so much that she decided to attend travel school.

After time with a small cruise ship company sailing the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the western US, Jennifer landed her first travel advisor position with a large nation-wide travel agency and has now been planning her client’s worldwide travel experiences for more than 15 years. Her favorite trip ever was her honeymoon to Fiji - with adventures to Italy and Australia at the top of her bucket list!

+ Lauren Calabrese - Travel Advisor

As the daughter of a lifelong traveler and fellow travel consultant, Lauren has lived most of her life understanding the transformational value of travel. There may be no more experienced member of the Longwood Travel team in all things Italy, as she spent three months in a Catholic Convent in Rome studying the Italian language, art, and politics!

With almost five years of travel planning experience, Lauren’s favorite destination is Hawaii - and she is a Hawaii Destination Specialist. She’s also traveled extensively in Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, and the United States, as well as sailed on several cruise lines. Next up is a long list of must-visits like Ireland & Scotland, an African Safari, and of course, a return to Rome!

+ Lydia Roberts - Travel Advisor

Lydia grew up in the backseat of a station wagon and lived all over the lower 48 until 6th grade - and realized early on that travel was her passion. After college, she went to work for Sitmar Cruises - now known as Princess Cruises and one of the largest cruise lines in the world! While cruising the world, Lydia met her husband and they moved to Massachusetts.

Having been a travel advisor since 1992, she has visited many destinations - though Alaska is still her favorite. Coming soon are trips along the east coast of the US and cruising Japan!

The beginning of Sandy’s love of travel had amazing roots firmly planted in Europe. During her college years, she spent a semester in the city of Nancy, in the northeast corner of France - followed by extensive travel throughout the continent. She is still in touch with her host family to this day!

With well over 30 years as a travel advisor, Sandy has many fantastic travel experiences and memories, including a chance encounter in Athens with the former Prime Minister of Greece! She has visited Europe, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexico, Northern Africa, and Hawaii (her favorite!), and sailed on many cruises. In fact, Sandy is one of only a handful of Master Cruise Counselors (MCC) in New England - and holds almost a dozen specialist designations for travel to Hawaii!
